Ido represents debtors, creditors, and trustees in all types of bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings in and out of court. A risk assessor who carefully analyzes all angles, Ido seeks to best position his clients from a strategic business perspective.

During the pandemic, Ido has presented frequently on bankruptcy-related topics affecting businesses, including PPP loans, landlord/tenant issues, and the hospitality industry in particular. He focuses on how businesses can use bankruptcy as a strategic tool to reorganize, and ultimately thrive.  Ido also has experience with bankruptcy matters involving cryptocurrency and NFTs, having represented both trustees and creditors.

Ido served as President of the Bankruptcy Bar Association of the Southern District of Florida in 2016-2017, and has held various leadership positions in the organization.

Ido serves as a Supreme Court of Florida Certified Mediator in various cases including serving as a panel mediator on the State of Florida Department of Financial Services Alternative Mediation Program.

He began his legal career at South Florida boutique bankruptcy firms, before co-founding the firm Alexander + Somodevilla, PLLC which then became LSS Law.

Ido graduated from the University of Miami’s Law and Business Schools, attaining his JD and MBA with an emphasis on Finance, Commercial and Bankruptcy law. He earned his undergraduate degree from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administrations focusing on Marketing and Economics.

Born in West Palm Beach and raised in Israel and Atlanta, Ido is fluent in Hebrew.
